Carol Calomiris serves as the Managing Attorney at the Jenifer Street office of RGS Title, LLC (RGS) in Washington, DC. With over 30 years of experience in real estate and law, Carol brings extensive knowledge and leadership to her role.
A native of Bethesda, MD, Carol attended the Holton-Arms School before earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from Duke University in 1989. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center in 1992, graduating on the Dean’s List and earning the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Advocacy Award for her work in the Criminal Justice Clinic.
Carol began her career in real estate law in 1993 by founding her own firm, Calomiris & Calomiris PA, which continues to serve the real estate community with a broad range of legal services. She is admitted to the bars of Montgomery County, the State of Maryland, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Supreme Court. She is also an active member of the Maryland, DC, and Virginia Land Title Associations.
At RGS, Carol handles residential and commercial settlements across Maryland, DC, and Virginia. She also plays an active role in advocacy as a member of the Public Policy Committees for both the District of Columbia Association of Realtors (DCAR) and the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors (GCAAR), where she helps draft legislation and lobbies on behalf of the realtor community.
In May 2025, Carol was appointed by Mayor Muriel Bowser as a Commissioner on the DC Real Estate Commission. She currently lives in Washington, DC with her husband and two daughters.
